Sound from mic should be quiet good, like on Windows or Android (mono 16
kHz, or even 48 kHz if your headset supports FastStream codec).

Avantree DG80 is an amazing device, it works out of box and it switches
between HSP/A2DP profiles automatically - tested with AKG K371-BT and

Is there a way to configure only NetworkManager to use tcmalloc
permanently?
I tried adding LD_PRELOAD to /etc/init.d/network-manager or /etc/init
/network-manager.conf and it does not work.
However setting LD_PRELOAD tcmalloc globally for the whole system in
/etc/ld.preload.conf does fix network
I'm attaching the crashdump. Core dump truncated, in order to not leak
any sensitive information (VPN passwords, etc). It looks like there is a
stacktrace there - I hope it helps.

On Meizu Pro 5 I experience problems with SMS notification sound too.
Usually after a reboot the SMS sound is played properly, but after some

switch to Linux Mint 17.1.
It is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, so I wonder what they did better, particularly

I experience the same bug on precise. Adding sleep 2 after sync (not
before like @vim-i wrote above) helps.
I figured out that the problem is that when:
killall5 -15 $OMITPIDS # SIGTERM
is called, `initctl emit plymouth-ready` process is not alive yet, so it
