"ping www.google.com" and "getent ahosts www.google.com" show that the
system prefers IPv6 anyway.

all the other NXDOMAIN at boot time besides this one.

device I can enter the PIN and it works as expected.

Problem is solved. It didn't happen again. It was the empty phone field.
So for the future it should be impossible to have an empty phone field.

"hardware" partitioning implemented by eMMC has nothing in common with

it you need the secret key it was most likely programmed with.
