Thanks for getting back to me.
Except during the mentioned peaks, the relay only uses 5 - 6 % of available

Hi,
I have noticed that after a few minutes of becoming online, and randomly
perhaps a couple of times every hour (??) tor uses 100 % processor on all
cores for about 40/50 seconds.
I am curious what is tor doing internally to need so much power? There is

Hi,
Firstly, on 9th of this month, tor 0.3.2.9 was released, I was wondering

sent me a bill for USD 0.70 ish (not
Hello.
If it is not set in your torrc, try looking in the torrc-default file
/usr/share/tor/tor-service-defaults-torrc
If you forget where this file is, look in the log where for two lines near
the top for "loading torrc" or something
If nothing is there, write EXITRELAY 0 yourself, right at
Hello.
I am getting this too, I saw this the logs a few months ago and didn't
think anything of it, this time though I ran Wireshark while started tor,
and it appears tor is transmitting encrypted info over port 80. I have the
.pcap file to prove it.
I started / stopped the relay a few times so I
