You're probably using TERM=xterm on a terminal which isn't xterm and doesn't support the xterm method to set the X clipboard. Either use the right TERM for gnome-terminal (TERM=gnome), or turn off the set-clipboard option in tmux. We should probably make this dependent on the xterm version now we

I'm running tmux 1.6 installed from source without any mods and seeing some strange behavior when I copy text on my Ubuntu 11.10 box. If I have two panes side by each and copy text from the rightmost pane, strange text is injected into the left pane. I have a screenshot of the effect here: http:/
