Hi all,
I would like to initiate some conversation about specific aspects of the
codebase, so that we gradually build some shared knowledge which is not
necessarily distillable in more permanent documentation.
I was looking at the way the \hlink tag works, and in particular what happens

Don’t double click on the app. Right+click on it and then select Open from the
popup menu, at that point you will have another dialog and you have to select
Open again.
This has to be done only the first time you open the app. Subsequently it is
enough to double-click on it.

Dear all,
the dmg and the app is not signed correctly. Instead of an Apple
certified key, the key is certified by other CAs. MacOS will only accept
Apple certified keys for the for pay developer program.

Hello everyone,
We are aware of the signing issues on macOS. All TeXmacs DMGs are signed
with a CNRS/Sectigo key. However, it appears that on newer macOs, Apple
does not accept DMGs unless they are signed with an Apple certificate.
We are currently in discussions with the CNRS to obtain an Ap
I think they might use a bit more context about the device hardware, or other

There is no crash or crash report. It just exits at startup as if it were
supposed to exit (usual Android Apps do show up an error message when they
crash, and the logcat contains an error and usually a call stack in logcat, but
there is nothing for TeXmacs). I only found this sigabrt in logcat.
Not sure whether this message was overlooked. I tested the beta version and
several nightlies on my two Android 15 devices. None of them succeeds to even
start up.
Best,
