The dock gnome-shell extension is preventing windows from maximizing over
it..
isnt it yet set to auto-hide, or some other feature like that?

Since installing Fedora 15 64 bit on my server, I haven't been
able to get Samba to make shares available on the local network.
The problem may be that some of the ports can not be opened:
smbd version 3.5.8-76.fc14 started.
