Since installing Fedora 15 64 bit on my server, I haven't been
able to get Samba to make shares available on the local network.

The problem may be that some of the ports can not be opened:

   smbd version 3.5.8-76.fc14 started.
Copyright Andrew Tridgell and the Samba Team 1992-2010
[2011/06/01 06:03:34.277374, 0] smbd/server.c:500(smbd_open_one_socket)
smbd_open_once_socket: open_socket_in: Address already in use
[2011/06/01 06:03:34.277674, 0] smbd/server.c:500(smbd_open_one_socket)
smbd_open_once_socket: open_socket_in: Address already in use

netstat does not show any Samba ports in use.

This has not been a problem before F15.
