any suggestions
for a mail filter that can scan for viruses/keywords in attachments
without renaming every executable file? We are running RH 6.1, BTW.
My knowledge of the mail server is budding at this point, I am the
assistant-in-training to the system admin.

at a bash prompt. I always used shutdown now and had no
problems, but it doesn't seem to work now. Any suggestions as to how to
fix this?

If you can't say anything nice about someone, say nothing.
Then creep up behind them with a baseball bat and really
let &
s around with
the real meat of the OS, so I am a newbie at figuring out problems.

it's not set up to even check my e-mail.
There was a funny 'article' on Slashdot
that spoofed M$ changing the name from Outlook to Lookout! GOt a little
chuckle out of that, I did.

own on my lap. ::grrr:: But then, I digress!
I hardily recommend the New Riders MySQL book, 50 bucks, and worth it.
I have the Wrox Professional PHP programming book, good so far, but it
would be better to start out slowly and actually do the projects in
the book instead of having to skip ah
py because the backup
that IHtml made wasn't really a backup copy,
it had the LoadModule line for IHtml in it as
well. Has anyone had any luck with this?

Subject: [techtalk] Woes :\
Suddenly, I can no l
connection, and reach the internet, but I
haven't
had much use to try anything beyond that yet. I am running on an ISDN line
with
a terminal adapter plugged into the Windows 98 machine, so the Windows machine
is the 'server' of the network.
There are actually a few ways yo
firm
which version of AOL is doing this. If anyone has heard of this,
and knows what it could be, I would be overjoyed. I have searched
through bug databases, etc, and have found no evidence of this
problem. Perhaps I overlooked something?

as
secure as Windows (bwahaha). Take it up with the
distro
developers. Or even better, make you own distro where
it
isn't the default setting! That's the great thing
about
Linux...we, the people, have access to the code and
can
do such things.

tried it on several Mac browsers, Linux, the buggy

Can anyone recommend a good web interface for server
administration, like adding and removing users,
managing e-mail, etc. This would be only for admin
consumption, not for the general user. The platform
is RH7.1, running Apache and sendmail. Any help
would be greatly appreciated!

talled GnomeICU two days ago, and like it so far.
It was surprisingly easy, and I am very new to Linux. It doesn't
quite have ALL the goodies that ICQ itself has, but it seems to do
the job.
