This is not technically completely correct. There are a couple of programs
out there that enable the software modems undr Linux. Then only problem
with them is...1) they eat so much processing

has anyone seen/used a touch-screen screen guard? (something you can just
put it on your screen that will turn your regular monitor to touch-screen
monitor?) I am interested in using it on my laptop. I saw that Metro-X
has support for touchscreen devices.

I'll try again and see if it works. Since it's not my own box,

They are working on making winmodems to work under linux.
I heard some winmodems DO work under linux through linmodem driver
but it's very few (I heard)
