We use a web based/email capable Sensaphone IMS-4000 system which uses ropes
for the water detection. We had a legacy system in place but went through a
major upgrade a few years ago to this system for better reporting, history
reports and an expandable via networking monitoring ability.

We follow option 3 using MS's FIM product to pull data from our peoplesoft ERP
system and push it to AD. We are working on better internal business processes
to handle attribute updates . Putting FIM in is a major project.
