Any recommendations for a moderate-volume b&w laser printer with a good
envelope feeder? We'd be talking several hundred envelopes at a go,
although they can certainly be fed in batches. Envelopes of various
sizes, and card stock too sometimes, as well as just general purpose

Hmm...I haven't tried printing envelopes, but I've been very happy
otherwise with my Brother printer. I think it's hard to beat the Brother
B&W laser printers these days for price and performance. I generally stay
away from HP at this point.

We've used a multi-function b/w laser Brother for a long-long time now,
and trust me when I say it's taken a beating! (Duplex and all...)
So impressed we are - we're looking to back it up with a bigger/more

I'll chime in here as well, I've got an ancient MFC-8860DN laser
printer at home and it's got to be 8-10 years old and it's given
flawless service. I've replaced toner a few times, maybe once for the
drum. Cost around $400 when I got it, and when it jams it's easy to
fix and keep moving.
