Hello
Can anyone tell me how to shorten filenames in my gallery. I would
like pictures just to have the date as the filename. At present,
before the date is a very lengthy string of numbers. Approximately
16 numbers before the start of the actual date.
With thanks
Mike.

For several years now I have used phone wallet and best time on my various
phones with talks.
I purchased these by following links from blindsea.
Sadly it looks like they won't switch the licences to the handset I have
had to change to due to the new firmware issues.
Ok so I will by them again
Hi!
I use Handy Safe and it works very nice with TALKS. The ony problem I
have is when viewing an item because TALKS is totally quiet. The remedy
is to go into edit mode and TALKS becomes happy again and reads
everything as it should.
The main focus for me was that Handy Safe hase a desktop app

as far as timer programs go, I think I prefer the one called, I think "time

you do have to put your phones date back to june 2009 to get it to install,
but after that, I would prefer it over best timer any day.
I also personally do prefer handy safe, but I would say that choosing

Thanks for that so the other timer is better for talks.
I sent the request to the developers again to transfer the licences the
first time it was sent in Unicode. As they did not reply perhaps the email
clients they use did not display the messages corre
Hello
I have tried what you both suggested. When I use the rename option,
the file name is much shorter. Starting with the date, followed by
the file size. I think talks must be reading something else in front
of the file name and stringing it all together.
With thanks
Mike.

yes, time machine seems to be very flexable when it comes to sounds you can
use.

when you choose rename if you don't press a key when you are in the edit
name field you should be able to left and right arrow through the name and
see how it is spelt. when renaming images use file manager rather than from
with in the images system.

It's possible that you have your graphics mode changed to the advanced or
whatever mode. Press Talks, then long 4 to change it back,
or use the Talks settings' window.

Yup, put the dunce cap on my head. I'm completely mystified. I tried
hitting select to enter the edit field. It said text. But all the keys
that allow you to move from heading to table etc. kept doing their job.
I eventually had to disable Talks, turn the phone off, turn it back on
and let a si
