I'm not for sure what all you are asking here. But the TTS as far as not being able to switch instantly to another TTS! Has to do with the fact that the phone has to go out and read the new TTS into memory before it can start running it. The old one is unloaded first from memory before the new o

There is already a shortcut if you have Talks 5.x on your phone. Do a Talks long Clear! Then this will bring up a list of TTS that are on your phone then you can just arrow to the TTS that you want and press select. Then that TTS will be active. You can also set a Application Specific setting to
