I have to agree here. If you're calculating routes for most average walking
distance routes, even within a town centre with many routing options, it
really isn't that slow and provides reasonable and timely re-routing
options. Ironically, it's actually worse when used in a car in drive mode,

Secondly it could be that the destination which you have selected have moved
from the time the map was updated.
