I have installed the Nokia PC Suite from the BlindSea web site, the latest
version but I can't seem to get the menus to work to be able to install the
latest version of Talks on my Microsoft Windows XP machine.
Is there a way around this?
Can I copy the Talks files to the phone and i
Yes, you can copy files into your phone memory or memory card and install it
from the File Manager.

You do not need to go into PC Suite first in order to install a file. You
can just find the file on your PC, Press enter on it, and PC Suite should
bring up a box asking if you want to install the file. You may need to use
the review cursor on your PC screen reader to find and click the
Worked a treat, thanks very much for everyone's help.
Just realised that I had been running version 4 for all this time, no idea how
this happened, I was sure that I upgraded to 5.
I installed to the memory card but thinking about it logically, maybe I should
re-install to the phone memory?

Thanks Steve, nice one.
I will uninstall it from my machine then, I don't seem to be able to do much
with it.

Steven if you want to put Talks into phone memory, you should first remove
it off the memory card. Then install it to phone memory.

Steven, yes, if Talks is installed to the memory card, you can't change
the memory card without losing talks, therefore it should be installed
to the phone memory. In order to install to the phone memory it must be
removed from the memory card.

Dear Listers,
If I need to connect to the internet via gprs on my n82 via USB Cable to

Hi friends,
Long shot but I don't suppose that anyone can remember the default text alert
ring tone on the Nokia N95? I have lodes of files on my phone that are being
picked up when I try to change the message alert and it is going to take me
ages to run through them manually.

Beauty, that is the one, thanks for the tip, it has saved me a lot of time.
It is a bit annoying that all my songs and everything appear in the message
tone selection list but I guess that is the way it is designed to work.
I don't think you can jump to parts of the list by pressing letters either
Another trick I use to get to a few things in PC suite, like the
Synchronize utility, is to use the System Tray. If you're using JAWS,
you can use insert+F11, arrow down to PC Suite, tab over and select the
right mouse click. You can then arrow down to and select the different
utilities.

there are a couple of versions there where accessibility and supported
features on your phone need to be balanced. Personally I use 7.1.19. I
find this is a good balance between newly supported features like bluetooth
connection management. You access most if not all pc suite options by

The phone isn't even out yet. No Talks will not work on this model. It is a
version of symbian and not the same as the S60 phones.

Hi Doug,
It's the conflict with Eloquence. You could do either one of the following:
1. Upgrade to Talks V5.01.1 and it should work well.
2. Purchase a VCM license, like Karen and even with Talks V5.00.3, it will not
jam your phone.
All the best,
KITT.

Hey, I've got a nokia 6700 slide
And it works really well with the latest talks and eloquence.
I got mine through Telstra on prepaid for $200, but you might be able to get

The keypad is like one long bar but the number 2, 5, 8 and 0 are raised up
very slightly in the middle.

Hi Emma
How are you doing?
Thank you for your feedback.
Does the 6700 slide have facility for a hc micro sd card?
Wats the sound like?
Wats its battery life like?
Any thing else you can suggest to help me to get an idea what its like?
Thank you
God bless

I'm not sure, it does have a memory card in it.
Its battery life is pretty good.
The keys on the slide part of the phone itself are very well raised.
The sound quality is good with eloquence.
The speaker is on the bottom right hand side of the phone.
On the very top of the phone, is a little catch
Hi Emma,
Mind providing the phone memory size please? Also does this phone have
