This is my first message on this list.
I have posted this on the Lodestone mailing list but the question may be
more appropriate here.
I have recently purchased an N 86.
I got sighted help to install my Talks but am experiencing difficulty

Hi David,
If you going through so much problem, I would suggest this.
1. Link phone to PC.
2. Select Mess Storage instead of PC Suite.
3. Copy the LS file and paste into your memory card. Access your memory
card through My Computer.
4. Go into File Manager in your phone and run the file fro

So I would say more then likely you are not entering the text correctly or

Hi, just wondering, if I have Karen on speed 9 on my n85, can I then go back
to eloquence if I want to at a later time while the speed is set to speed 9?
Or will it stuff up the phone.

Hi. It is possible to install loadstone without sighted help. In my case,
I installed it from the loadstone web site. I visited the web site on my phone.
After selecting a phone model, I selected the download button and the installed

Hi Steven,
Try adding to dictionary the word MGR.
Here is what you need to do:
1 Connect the phone to the pc using pc suite mode
2 find the loadstone.sis file and press enter on it
3 a window should open asking if you want to continue the install and you
need to select yes
4 wait for a beep from the phone then follow the prompts on the phone usi
Thanks.
This worked like a dream.
When I navigated to the install folder I found the Lodestone installation
file already there.
Running the install there resulted in all the dialogues being spoken.
Thanks again.

Gary, it seems to me that staying with a network just because you're used to
it isn't really a very good argument. I've changed networks several times
over the years, and it's really not hard to get used to a new one,
especially if they're giving you a better deal/service.
Cheers

Thanks.
The problem was that the phone would not talk to me using this method.
I eventually bypassed this problem by ignoring PC suite and simply using
file manager on the phone to execute the file on the phone itself. Using
this method talks read all the dialogue boxes fine whereas before it stop

Hi All,
Apologies to the mods for this.
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a list available for accessibility

If anyone could give me any info off list, I'd be very grateful. My direct

It was a long call, 55 minutes but that said I am having pjroblems with it
now and it is not starting to record at all on a call. I have it set to
record all calls. Maybe I should deinstall and reinstall. No it is a full
version.

Ok, I know people have said on the n86 that email is kinda doable but it has
some glitches. I feel like I'm missing a major piece of the puzzle, because
no matter what I do, a. I don't seem to stay connected, and b. I can't seem
to read anything in the inbox.
So, what I have is Nokia email from
It is accessible with some glitches. I can try to talk you through
it, but having used both the Nokia email client and Emoze, I recommend
going straight to Emoze. It's much easier to use and performs better
with Talks. Email me off list if you want me to try to get you going
on the Nokia client.
No, no, no need to reinstall. first check if you're out of memory. If you
have enough memory to record, than just restart the phone. This works most
of the time.

Hmmm. Well, I fiddle farted around a bit more, and by some sheer miracle, I

You can delete mailboxes from the phone settings menu. Go to
settings, general, email. Arrow to the unwanted mailbox, and select
delete from the options menu. This has to be done from phone
settings, not settings in the email client.
