Ok, I know people have said on the n86 that email is kinda doable but it has
some glitches. I feel like I'm missing a major piece of the puzzle, because
no matter what I do, a. I don't seem to stay connected, and b. I can't seem
to read anything in the inbox.

So, what I have is Nokia email from Nokia Messaging. I assume this is the
n86's default email client, right? When I'm in something that says inbox,
all the arrowing in the world does me no good. The only option I have
besides show open apps, help and exit, is change. If I hit that, I get
something that says more folders, and I can't see anything else. For the
life of me, I have no idea where drafts hang out, as I can't seem to find
the drafts folder, and the messages I've tried to compose are not in the
drafts area of my messaging application.

Also, when I go through the options menu, the option to connect or
disconnect says connect. This, to me, means I'm not connected. Why? What do
I have to do?

I tried to get support from Rogers, but their idea of support was "Let me
open up this here nokia user manual." They had no idea whether I was being
blocked somehow by rogers, and couldn't figure out why I should be since I
have a data plan. But they really didn't troubleshoot much.

The chick at Nokia support was trying to help, bless her, but she kept
telling me that the reason it said connect was it would just take some time.
Lady, I could sit here for an hour and it wouldn't change. She did establish
that I was not registered with nokia messaging, but the only way I can
apparently do this is to somehow start from scratch, which I can't seem to
be able to do. I can't figure out how to delete the account and start anew.
And, when I go to set up email notifications, it tells me I must connect to
the email first. Well, if I could stay connected for more than 2
nanoseconds, I'd get right on that.

So...is this a problem with nokia messaging? Should I just go with emaze? Or
is there a deeper problem going on that I have to solve first?

Thanks, I'm uber perplexed, so if someone could enlighten me, I would love
it.

Carin
