I am looking at the Nokia N97 which has touch screen and also a qwert
mber first.

1. bring out the virtual keypad.
2. key-in any number from 2 to 9. (just 1 digit)
3. and press the call button either with the touch screen or the talks+power
method.

i just did a test on my N8 and here is the result. i am not able to hold 2-9
to activate the speed dial while talks is installed,
but however, i can use the speed dial by key-in 2 or any numbe
.
