Well, I decided to reinstall Eloquence TTS and that seemed to solve the
talks not speaking bluetooth status issue. All is well now. Thanks.

Well without you giving more information about what you have as far as a
phone, what 3rd party software you have installed besides Talks, what tts
you are using with Talks, what the firmware is on your phone, If you are
running Symbian Anna/Belle. There is just to much information needed to have
Bluetooth off? Bluetooth doesn't get turned off when you disconnect a
device. the device just disconnects. However you may be able to get a 3rd
party program that will put out a message when a device disconnects but the
newer phones on there own don't normally do this. However in saying this! I
