First this issue regarding talks and the bluetooth status is happening
on my N86. Secondly I might not have explained the issue clearly. So,
let me give another whack at it. (smile) I have the down arrow on the
home screen as a shortcut key to bring up the bluetooth function. So if
I already have bluetooth turned on and I press select talks will say
bluetooth off. However, If bluetooth is turned off and I use my down
arrow short cut key to bring up bluetooth, when I press select talks no
longer says bluetooth on. Of course I know I can either down arrow and
up arrow to check the status or do a talks key and soft key 2 for status
but should not talks say bleutooth on/off when you toggle the select
key? It was working correctly two weeks ago, and it works just fine
on my e66. In fact, when I turn bluetooth on using the e66 talks says
"bluetooth visibility changed to hidden phone is no longer detectable if
search is made by other devices." That's what my N86 use to say because
I have bluetooth visibility hidden. On 11/21/2012 6:12 PM, Stephen

Bluetooth off? Bluetooth doesn't get turned off when you disconnect a
device. the device just disconnects. However you may be able to get a
3rd party program that will put out a message when a device
disconnects but the newer phones on there own don't normally do this.
However in saying this! I don't know what phone you are currently
using. When you disconnect the headset! You could just do a talks
followed by SoftKey2 and see what the bluetooth status is.

Subject: [Talks] talks not speaking
I noticed in the past few days when I turn bluetooth off talks
doesn't say bluetooth off. I have to arrow up and down to check the
status. I thought upgrading to the most recent version of talks would
solve the issue but it didn't. BTW, talks does say bluetooth on it
just won't say bluetooth off anymore.
