Yes the N95 models work very well. It is a Symbian 3rd Edition phone. Keep in mind, there are 4 different models of the N95 at least. Two for the USA market and two for over seas market. The N95 is my primary phone and has been for about 2.5 years. It has over 5,326 hours of Talk time on it.

I think you would need to tell us what you are doing then we can advise more. Remember you are pulling data from the old to the new phone. I think you just selected contacts and calander even if in error. There will be a complete list for you to select. Sometimes the bluetooth connection is lost

I have the same problem with my e72. I just don't here the phone ring. I recorded a very long time ago a ringing sound from a, what we called, cricket phone, and that one I here. It is in amr format and I will send it if you want to try it. It is at a high frequency which works for me. Dale
