I'm not interest in this as:
1. It's far too detailed. There are much better thing I can spend my
time mapping.
2. It's too variable. The different seasons, whether the farmer has gone
down the lane with his hedge trimmer etc.etc.

Around my area in the UK a user is presently adding bicycle=no to all
motorways. There was a discussion a while back whether it that tag was
implied for motorways. If I remember, it was claimed there were some
places (not UK) that allowed bicycles. What was the consensus?

Most places imply roadways are vehicle=yes by default (even motorways), so
adding the restriction explicitly isn't a bad thing, whether anyone thinks
it's implied or not.
