I've used 'smell' on the proposal; I think more people will know that word! As an aside, there's a playground viewer app here: http://ant.homelinux.net/maps/index.html which shows (as blue icons) any playgrounds created with the new schema. It's experimental at the moment, working with a snapsho

My view was that baby=yes was shorthand for minage=0, maxage=about 4 - more a recommendation of age appropriateness than a hard limit. Also it was intended for the equipment rather than the whole play area - though in the unlikely case of an entire play area being for babies there wouldn't be any r

While preparing the proposed playground equipment tagging schema, it occurred to me that there are lots of instances of 'micro mapping' where detail is being added to cover stuff like litter bins, gates, playground equipment, grass verges etc, rather than 'big' stuff like roads, parks and so on. I

Hi all, We've been slowly mulling over the proposed playground extensions for the last couple of months, and I hope that we've covered all the ground that needs to be covered by now. Could those that care to vote, cast your votes on the page? If you disapprove, please say why and maybe we can cont

Cool - if you tag up those playgrounds do let me know as I could do with some more test cases for my renderer etc. Also if you hit any snags with the schema it would be good to get them ironed out sooner rather than later. Thanks for the encouragement! Antony. On 20 April 2010 20:33, Jonathan Le

Hi all, re http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Playground_Equipment I'd like to get this proposal finalized fairly soon as it has been open for a month now. There has been a lot of useful discussion already which I have taken on board and put into the main page. Could I ask you

A relation could be added between the area bounding the playground, and the equipment within it. I've tried this out and commented on the discussion page - http://osm.org/go/0EGASSRdQ-- is a link to a playground near me that I've tagged in this way. There is a proposed schema for identifying relati

Hi all, As a result of not being able to find public outdoor play facilities for my disabled child, I've started a bit of a project to collect data on such things. To which end, there is now a project page here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/AccessiblePlay and a page detailing a proposed s
