I think the translations should be copy-righted. But I also think the free
ones are more than what we need, i.e. Sword is already offering enough
In this country that is half a day's wages... in other countries it is even
more.

I was talking about "scarcity" in the economic sense of the world. For
the application of economics, anything that is not truly infinite is scarce.
Either way though, the very nature of ideas is that they can be copied
infinitely without the permission of the original author. That is not

Hey, $1.50 isn't much at all is it? Maybe I'll start charging $1.50 to
get into our church every week.
Agreed.

Look, I have very little money, and quite frankly, it cost me little more
than $1.5 each to get a copy of the NIV and Good News Bible.
It is probable that it would be a bit more in the US, but the reality is
that to buy the bible is dirt cheap. And if you can afford it, get one, and
buy one for

This is not the case, there is plenty of food in the world, the point is
that its located in the wealthy areas to provide a means for the wealthy to
help the poor.

I agree 100%, but I'm not sure what version would be the replacement.
The NIV and NASB are very good, the KJV is pretty poor by today's standards.

I'm so frustrated by the fact that "God's Word" is licensed at all. I understand that
money had to be involved with the translating/publishing process, but the fact texts
like NIV is "licensed" means profit. I'm beginning to sway away from such versions and

Sword. How do I unlock the module?

included with the Zondervan software should allow me to copy/use the data in another
