Hey Martin and Chris,
I know a lot of thought and work by the module repo maintainers has gone into
trying to make this a smooth transition. What seems to be the problem? It's my
understanding that software not yet supporting av11n should have both 'attic'
and the standard CrossWire repo in the
Thanks Karl. Peter, I suspect you're right about the culprit file. I further
suspect it's the presence of a footnote in the header that is tripping the
problem.

Gary, if you add this line to your test program (which I suspect Bibletime did
similarly at some point) you should get similar values in tmpKey at that point:

Guys, thanks so much for all the reports. I will try to clean these things up
over the next few days.
Jerry and others, to build a portable install, there is a new menu option on
InstallManager which allows you to either migrate your modules to a shared
location on your computer where other SWO
Hey David and Jerry. Thanks for the feedback. Well, I remember having trouble
with installmanager pausing mid-download or something.
You could try alternate versification modules. Not sure the current state of
our repositories these days. I haven't kept up with where the av11n stuff lives

Thanks for delineating the discussion, DM.
I would certainly be in favor of discussing the possible enhancement to our
filters (or import tools) for providing language span tags around segments of
language text not included in the default module language unicode plane, per

Right, this opens up all kinds of discussion, as you point out.

What does that mean?
A checksum for their actual content (I don't like this)
An entire sub- v11n definition (I don't like this)

In all seriousness though, Greg's idea for a flag is a good alternative to the
span. I believe we have some other class statics in the filters for
configuration. We could add the flag there. Thoughts?
Greg, your wife and new baby and you are in our prayers!

Absolutely not. Go have a baby!

BibleCS, per my preference, only shows hover-over symbols for the note or cross
reference, and does not include the 'n' label. BibleCS uses different filters
though, so not affected.
SWORDWeb will be affected.

I suspect from the wchar_t reference that it has to do with the new code we
added for clucene2. This method does not need to be exposed via the bindings.
Is there some way to say "ignore this method"?

My apologies Manfred, I upgraded tomcat and didn't realize we had our own jars
added to the tomcat/lib folder. I've placed the jaybird (firebird JDBC driver)
in the forums' WEB-INF/lib folder so this won't happen next time. Should be
working again.

Dear Костя,
This is entirely my fault. v11n mapping is a big deal and I need to consider
any implementation completely before we move forward. Because of the many
projects that build on our engine, we try our hardest not to change interfaces
once we move forward. For better or worse, this make
Stephan,
I too was curious to see what the code for a WebOS app looked like, and also
how you integrated your frontend with our engine. Was hoping maybe to suggest
some tips.
The app looks great. Very clean and professional design.
Looking forward to sharing in work together,

Thanks David!
Could you try something for me? With the program closed, could you run
InstallManager.exe and choose from the menu something like "Migrate Library
Systemwide." I can't remember the wording right now, but basically there are 2
options for migration. One is a local copy of your modu
find any SWORD code which enforces this; i.e., SWORD won't try to

previous email as the text node.
Hope this helps,

Well, what did you think the 'convertToOSIS' method would do to a VerseKey? :)
Not sure the binding language you're using's syntax, but try something like
$scope->getRangeText();

Ok, we're probably in a recursive loop. The first output you gave with the
stack trace from gdb, can you give more? Try to give enough to where we can
recognize a repeating pattern.

CAUTION NEWBIES:
In my previous example excerpt of code I wrote:
kjv->setText("jn.3.16");
This is a typo and should be:
kjv->setKey("jn.3.16");
Normally, I wouldn't worry too much, as the main point of the example-- the new
Render filter code-- was unaffected by the typo, BUT...
