I just wanted to report I have successfully compiled both Sword and Bibletime on my Mandrake 9 box this morning.  Thanks for the tips and patient help.  It appears my problems were related to not having the latest Sword CVS. in Christ anthony

Brook I can't seem to compile Bibletime on my Mandrake 9 box. I have compiled Sword 1.5.4 ok thanks to Daniel's hint about turning off the debug option. You indicated on the sword list that you have made rpms, could you help me out with a mandrake 9 rpm for Bibletime 1.2.1? thanks

I remember reading sometime that Vines Expository Dictionary was back under copyright and thats why there isn't a Sword module. Is that the case? I do find Vine's work helpful at times in preparing Bible Studies, I would appreciate a module if it is possible. Thanks for all your work
