Couple of points.A casual module developer does not need any of the utilities at their most up to date as we would not accept a module, but only a source text. So, as long is the OSIS etc is right, the rest is my concern as the module upload person.Someone who wants to do heavy lifting and on a reg
I also need the Windows utilities. We are a team of three people doing module development. We all have Windows workstations.
We do have a Linux machine that hosts our svn, but it would be a distinct disadvantage if I have to work out a way to execute the
module builds on the Linux box, partic

Hebrew also appends pronounimal suffixes, so perhaps those are segments

I have no idea. I can read and write C++, but it’s been over 20 years since I
did it on a regular basis. I’m not interested in trying to decipher the code or
what Chris L. had in mind. Just glancing at the code it says it pertains to WLC
and it has Morph and Segmentation in the name. That’s quit

I know it's still the holiday season, yet I would still like to have it
explained what is the difference in output that we should see when the
OSISMorphSegmentation filter is applied.
There are modules which have this specified in the .conf file, yet I've not
seen any discernable difference in
Thanks, Greg.
Pretty sure I won't be the only person that uses Win32 editions of the

even I have occasionally put in a reminder whenever there's a new release. :)
As a Society, we should always remember that we are not a one platform outfit,
and that there are module developers and te
You ask this every time there is an engine release and the answer is still
the same: there are no official builds of the utilities for Windows. The
only supported environment for running them is Linux and they are only
supported when running from Subversion HEAD. Anywhere that they run outside

If the Win32 sword utilities have already been compiled for SWORD 1.8.0
release, where can I find them?
If they are not yet made, please would someone do the honours. Thanks.
btw. Was Karl's patch for diatheke -o M included ?
cf. Although he made the patch several months ago, it was not included
Hi DM,
I think you misunderstood me. I never said we have no existing modules with a
CC license. It's quite clear that we do.
I said "It's not about existing modules."
i.e. We don't have to change any released modules just because new CC licenses
have since appeared.
What I'm after is to clarif

My concern at the time was that once we’ve a v11n that has been released and
modules have been built with it we really can’t change it. People keep modules
around long after we’ve updated or obsoleted them. We want them to be able to
update their front-end without losing functionality of the mod
Peter,
As you and others well know, I often edit our developers' wiki.
I'm not the expert in CrossWire about distribution licensing.
In this case, I require professional knowledge that's outside my area of
expertise.

This is not about existing released modules.
It's about updating our advice/instructions for anyone making a new or updated
module.
We should update the details in our wiki page without waiting for any other
activity.
Best regards,
David

Have any modules been released with CC? Chris added these licenses as
“supported.” I don’t see the point in updating the list to support what isn’t
reality. When we negotiate new content that has a particular license, we should
update it then.

If you have asked before and no one else saw your sense of urgency, I guess it falls back to.you.to.fix it unless you want to.leave it unfixed. It is not exactly a programmer's task. I personally never use CC licenses and see no.urgency in it from my side, hence.Sent from my mobile. Please forgive
Dear all,
