Hi Peter,
Do you know there already is a Lightfoot commentary module? Or are you
just making an OSIS version from scratch?
Regarding your comment about a lack of foreign language material. There
are probably two reasons that have a direct influence on this:
1. The total amount of material

Checking on the state of these modules, the first one I tried in Xiphos
was RSThcsK. Xiphos crashed on it when I moused over an xref. I was in
Gen 4:3 when it happened.
Footnotes in RSThcsK are encoded e.g.:
Compare to NASBnew, where a Gen 4:2 xref is encoded:

Just a follow-up. This morning Karl added support for this to Xiphos'
SVN. Support in the main HEAD of BibleTime is still awaiting Jaak's
laptop repairs so he can review my commit.

Hello
My name is Michael and I'm a software developer from Israel. I
just joined the list to share with you some things I know about
Hebrew translations of the NT. I did a little research during
the last month, and these are the results:

This is a very interesting 17th century commentary, mainly providing
realms of Jewish background info to the gospels.
I am working on it right now. I obtained the plain (not ThML) text from
CCEL where it is explicitly marked as PD. Marking it up to OSIS/imp is
not overly difficult and will probabl
How about naming it with sword in the subtitle? Then sword is reflective of the
name? Or release the installer separately and call it sword? or

Regarding Application Support/Sword vs Eloquent: it is a simple change to
JSword to add another place where modules are stored. The trick would be for
SWORD to look in more than one place.

You should be able to explain away #1 - this is exactly what all Bible Apps do,
so unless there are no other Bible Study apps available, you should be able to
explain this. I'd read up carefully that point, cause you're not installing
code & it depends on their definition of "resources"... I kn
Hi Guys.
I think it is relatively unlikely to succeed putting MacSword/Eloquent
in the Mac AppStore.
The main stumbling blocks are:
- the module installer:
Apple doesn't allow "Apps that download or install additional code or
resources to add functionality or change their primary purpose will
