Hi Jon.
If you consider adding the library into the application bundle, you
should remember to link statically.
Also if you build on Leopard you might break Tiger compatibility.
In /Developer/SDKs/... are SDK folders, if you didn't install Panther
you have MacOSX10.4u.sdk and MacOSX10.5.sdk.
Hello Jon,
Not sure if this will help or not but on a related note, someone made
available Sword 1.5.7a via MacPorts (
http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/browser/trunk/dports/textproc/sword/Portfile)
along with a number of modules. Unfortunately, this has not been
maintained. It would be
Jon,
A good test for your new software would be to convert Nave's Topical Bible
(Nave) and Thompson Chain Topics (TCR) to "taglists". This would test unique
names, descriptions and give you lots of verse reference list examples. Just a
suggestion.

I don't really know a lot about many things yet, but if you downloaded
the source (I still have problems going straight from svn) you can do
a ./configure --prefix=/somepath before the make, then a make/make
install will put it elsewhere. BTW, this is where you can enable
--enable-debug as well if

I've downloaded and compiled the sword API, but I haven't installed it
because I think I want to include the .dylib in my proj

Since most of our frontends have some type of verse list functionality,
I would like for us to have something common in the engine we can all
use. This will also benefit our users, allowing them to share these

Will this be a part of Sword?

Hi there .
I've begun work on a simple commandline version for a modules installer
for SwordReader. I've placed a binary package of a complete installer
directory up at: http://www.crosswire.org/sword/swordreader/installer.zip
and the source is in swordreader svn under 'installer_src'.
