No spam but because of the lists from the same domain that do, it gets
marked as spam, bounced, or stuck in some web trashcan, at least by cox.net.

Unfortunately, we're talking about the sword-support list. Any email to
any of the support email addresses gets forwarded to this list, where
volunteers hopefully provide answers. Most mail comes from users needing
help, who shouldn't even need to know that a mailing list is involved.

I was looking at that scratching my head a bit when I downloaded the API.
Shouldn't the generic api source be categorized somewhere else instead of
under 'Linux'...like a 'source' or '*nix' category on its own? I understood

I also had that problem and also that cox.net was for over six months

so it was deleted automatically
Hi Barry,
I have added spam filters to sword-support recently. It is much
better but will still generate about 5 spam messages a day. I concur
with Chris about forwarding email to sword-devel. We have had many
complaints from people who have found their support emails archived on

Hi there .
As the 'culprit' that was forwarded to this list much to the dismay of
Chris was a query about the NET bible and Sword, could I say that if
anyone spots a problem on the Sword support list that is down to one of
the NET bible modules, they can feel free to forward it to me.

No: Bible Desktop handles all the NET modules perfectly. Either the

Please remember that the sword-support list is a private list. People
emailing for support do not expect that their emails will be sent to
public archived lists
