I had my girlfriend try the Windows front end, and much to our suprise
it worked pretty much "Out of the Box." One thing that was kinda
cumbersome was the install manager, as most of the buttons are not set
to use the alt key to activate them, (Nor tabbing to them, and I'm
unsure how to fix
The current version in testing is about 6 weeks old. No public releases
will occur until a new version of The SWORD Project for Windows is released.

are probably aware of them anyway, but I think them a little funny, so
they deserve to be mentioned.
1) The singular pronouns (e.g. thou/thee
The lucene folks are planning a 1.9rc on Monday, 20 Feb with 1.9, a week
later on 27 Feb. As with any volunteer effort, those are not set in
stone. At this time there is not a date for 2.0.
Version 1.9 maintains backward compatibility with 1.4.3 but deprecates
methods not going forward in 2.0.
