I am hoping to wrap up "Penguin in the Pew" soon, and hope some of you in
the developer community would be willing to give it a look. This revision
expands on a number of topics and includes a discussion of Christian FOSS
apps - something missing entirely from the previous version. PitP 2.0 is @

Yeah, sorry. We've just switched the Windows software over to using
utf8 locales. You should copy one from the SVN repository at:
https://crosswire.org/svn/biblecs/trunk/stage/uilocales.d/
Notice the Encoding= entry in the locales file.
You should have this in both your locales.d and ui
Let's take it one file a time. I started working on the file in
locales.d for now. I copied the french file, renamed it to ar-utf.conf
and changed the descriptioninthe file header to "Arabic (EG)". The new
entry appeared in the languages list the next time I opened SWORD.
