Christian,
there is a mod2zmod util that might work. Compressed Lexicons and
Dictionaries were supported as of 1.5.3.
Also, I believe you asked about a way to add more than one entry to a
module. There is a newer format called are general import format. It

Compression does work with lexdict modules.
addld and addvs are deprecated. You will find the imp2vs, imp2ld, and
imp2gbs tools much faster to work with. I don't believe any of them
will create a compressed module, however. You should use the mod2zmod
utility to create a compressed version
Does the support for compressed lexdict work already? I noticed that
addld has the -z switches, but couldn't get the created files to work
with the current release version.

Hi there ..
Just out of interest - I was quite surprised to find how easily Cheatah
builds under Windows. I only did it to test my build of the Sword library,
and was quite surprised to find it works OK. (You need the GTK stuff in
the Windows port).

The majority of subscribers to sword-devel are interested in both
Windows & general library development. Not to mention the fact that
BibleCS development tends to drive library development and expose bugs
and needs in it.
Also, at this late stage, it would be difficult to get all of the

It is there, but the link was broken up and put on a second line. Be sure

Please separate the windoze stuff into a separate mailing list as some

I remember reading sometime that Vines Expository Dictionary was back under copyright and thats why there isn't a Sword module.
Is that the case?
I do find Vine's work helpful at times in preparing Bible Studies, I would appreciate a module if it is possible.
Thanks for all your work
