Hi, everyone...
I heard yesterday from my friend John Whiting that the veteran recording
engineer specialising in stereo and spatial sound, Mike Skeet, has
passed away. I knew him from the days of my Editorship of Studio Sound,
where he made several contributions, and over many years he record

Sad to hear that he has died. His Garage Door recording is a classic
-- although I only have it on the HFN CD, and assume that somewhere
there are ambisonic files!
I was thinking only the other day that most of my stuff would
instantly lose value when I shuffle off my moral coil.

Very sad to hear of Mike's demise. He was a unique and precious
individual. Experienced, dedicated, knowledgeable, and practical,
with a quirky sense of humour. I am the lucky possessor of one of his
binaural CDs.
