I do not think these differences can be explained by a difference between the
Ambeo and the TetraMic.

I know about the calibration files. I've been using them for years, just
recording A-format to 4 tracks.
For me recording is also a creative process.
As an engineer I would not disregard these facts and record to A-format and
process with VVEncode and calibration files :)
