OK, I'm getting somewhere. Yes, getting the path to \\Roaming used a function which was basically commented out for now, and has been replaced by Qt5 specific features. It is simple to come to the Local directory, but Roaming directory is not available (http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/28617

Hi I have managed to get a compile of 6273 that runs. (Well sort of) The most noticable problem is there are no stars. The log says access to the catalogues denied. There is no splash screen. However startup is almost instantaneous Without the stars The frame rate is around 220fps on my XP b
