Hello,
short reminder that the plan is to freeze the development for v5.0.0 in
about 3 days - on Wednesday, Jan 4, 2017.
Should anyone have anything to push as a new feature, commit or make the
pull requests by the end of that day.
Have a great 2017,
Daniel

Hello,
what do you mean by "will ignore on pv var"? Is the record not saved at
all or the value of pv var is not used?
Cheers,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
Meaning if(!save("location", "0x04", "$var(aor)")) ---> $var(aor) ignored. It
use default Contact. Here are the log
$var(aor) = "sip:" + $tU + "@" + $(avp(rcvcontact){uri.host}) + ":" +
$(avp(rcvcontact){uri.port});

Hi,
have you configured kamailio in order to log to /var/log/kamailio
instead of syslog ?

Hello,
the third parameter is not for contact, it is the address of record --
the user address, eg., al...@sipdomain.com, not al...@phone.ip
What exactly do you need to achieve? Maybe there are other options that
you can use.
Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the quick revert!
Yes we have configured the same in /etc/rsyslog.conf as we do not have
/etc/syslog.conf
Once we restart the rsyslog service we can see /var/log/kamailio file is
getting created as below:
[root@mt log]# pwd
/var/log
[root@mt log]# ls -l kamai*
-rw---
Hi,
please configure this in your kamailio.cfg:
debug=3 # debug level, 1 is low and 4 is high (lots of output)
log_facility=LOG_LOCAL7
...
loadmodule "/usr/local/lib/kamailio/modules/xlog.so"
...
As well as this in your rsyslog.cfg:

Hello Daniel,

Hi,
I am not sure where exactly you want to put this line:
xlog("L_NOTICE", "This is a standard log line\n");
I had put the same in kamailio.cfg under route
1. Our xlog.so is in /usr/lib64/kamailio/modules and it is getting loaded in
modules section of kamailio.cfg.
2. I did everything else as
HI Daniel,
Here is another problem. Kamailio responds with SIP/2.0 478 Unresolvable
destination (478/SL) to REGISTER requests sent by asterisk for VOIP provider.
Domain "ims.airtel.in" does not exist. Where can we map this in kamailio.cfg?
Retransmitting #3 (NAT) to 103.35.68.236:5060:
REGISTER
You should add "ims.airtel.in" as kamailio local domain, in your
kamailio.domain table.

Now we are getting SIP/2.0 500 I'm terribly sorry, server error occurred (7/SL)
Where can we refer documentation on basic stuff like this. I have been
searching docs and finding nothing!
Retransmitting #1 (NAT) to 103.35.68.236:5060:
REGISTER sip:ims.airtel.in SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 103.35.68.
Kamailio-asterisk doc:
http://kb.asipto.com/asterisk:realtime:kamailio-4.0.x-asterisk-11.3.0-astdb
There are tones of documentation about kamailio out there.
Consider to check SIP protocol as well (rfc3261).

Hi Daniel,
If it is not too much asking, please Can you help me in giving instructions on
how to disable kamailio from my asterisk. I am much happier that way. This
kamailio integration came with Elastix MT and it has made my life miserable.
Please HELP!
