often mailers skip this requirement and put 8-bit chars (i.e national

I am using spamassassin 2.60 with qmail-scanner-1.16 and qmail-1.03 and
vpopmail.
The smtp-port is opening qmail-scanner and spamassassin iss caled by
qmailscanner.
The Spam-Mails are marked as spam by the X-Spam-Status Email-header. This
works. But the subject is not rewritten.

I now want to log the number of mails prozessed by spamd and the number of
messages marked as spam to the mysql db. It would be ok if no real logging
is done but only two counters (all/spam) for each user are updated.
Someone has a hint?

Heh, it seems it would be nice to make SA scan messages fatser. If I undersand
your idea correctly, you want not to run regexp one by one, but write the
state machine for all regepes and walk on this states by the mail, but... I
undersand how this may be faster (liner time of the message size) i
