Hi,
I am running spamassassin on a mail relay and it seems that
my procmail recipe is breaking aliases on the downstream
mail servers. I am running Postfix-1.1.7-2 on the mail relay
and it is configured to pass all mail to procmail for
filtering (this is done as a special user "filter") where

Hi,
Sorry if this has been discussed before. I looked through the archives
and didn't see mention of this in any titles. Feel free to flame if
this has been a beaten horse. I am looking for a tool/script that can
tell me what percentage of spam was caught due to the additional Bayes
points or
Hi,
RTFM me if this is obvious but I looked googled, archived and read docs
and couldn't find how to how many messages have been scanned in 2.60. It
looks like the old bayes_msgcount file is no longer used. sa-learn
--dump doesn't seem to provide this info either.

Hi,
I an not seeing auto expiry occuring which I believe I have the correct
configuration for. I am running SA-2.60-rc5, DB_File-1.806. In
/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf (yes this file is being read based on
the sa-learn -D output) I have use_bayes 1

That's probably going to confuse things a lot.
As the docs say:
bayes_expiry_max_db_size (default: 15)

Yes, I figured that if for some reason the 50k was too low that I should
endup with 100k, but I here I have 165k and this is what is confusing me.

Hi,
My appologies if this topic has been covered already. I did do some
searching though and didn't come up with anything. I am looking at 2.60
rules/50_scores.cf and am noticing that there are almost no negative
local rules. I am actually tweaking my 2.54 rules and was thinking about

Hi,
I am running SpamAssassin 2.54 and can't seem to get rbl checks working.
I have "skip_rbl_checks 0" in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf. I have
the default rules files with plenty of RBLs to check against. When I run
"spamassassin -D rbl=-9 -t < /var/tmp/test" I get the following as part

If anyone is interested I did some debugging and found that in 2.30
RBL checking code in EvalTests.pm did not strip reserved IP addresses
before doing the check and somewhere along the way to 2.54 this was
implemented and since I was checking with a 192.168... sender address
this did not trigg
Hi,
I understand what defang_mime is doing at the surface level -
- change the Content-type: header of suspected spam to
``text/plain''. And I have read rfc1521 which describes the different
content types: text, multipart, application, ... What I am trying to
find out is what are the consequ
Hi,
I have been seeing this problem too. I am running Spamassassin-2.30. Is
there a solution? I didn't see any responses to this question.
TIA,
Pete
