Not sure I understand. Reliable in what way? For this sort of setup,
you might not need to edit any of the spamassas

Is there a good help reference available for local.cf? I have searched on
Google and looked on th SA website but haven't foud anything so far. There is
no local.cf man page on my system.

Are you sure _THIS_ local.cf file is the one that is being read? Are you
using spamd? IF yes you need to restart it. Descriptions are not needed in
rules.
