Hi all.
Can anyone help me out with a problem? I've got SA 2.61 running on
Debian Woody- I'm migrating from RH9, where I always used pre-packaged
RPMs. I couldn't get the unstable packages to install, so I got the
.tar.gz instead.
It took me a while to sort out getting SA running and integratin

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can give me a heads up on what may be wrong here.
When I enable the CGPSA filter and change the CGPSA priority from
"disabled" to a priority number I get the following errors:
17:44:37.02 4 EXTFILTER(CGPSA) inp(70): * 735 Could not connect to CLI
(Error: Can't read CGPro
Well, first get spamassassin installed.. untar it, install it per the
INSTALL file. Note that SA doesn't "force" itself into your mail processing
stream so doing this part in advance doesn't alter qmail.
Then see if it works properly when invoked via the command line.
spamassassin -tD

Can someone point me in the right direction? I am looking for some
information about setting up SA on a FreeBSD 4.3 system running qmail.
If anyone can point me to some resources I would appreciate it.
TIA

This sf.net email is
1. 'touch ~/pm.log'
2. Put this at the top of your .procmailrc:
LOGFILE = $HOME/pm.log
LOGABSTRACT = "all"
VERBOSE = "on"
That will log relevant information about what procmail is doing with your
email. :-) Can be quite useful.

After realizing that a system wide install for a busy mailing list
server was not a good idea, I decided to try it on a per-user basis.

Is there a good place to find a *real* dummy guide to setting up
spamassassin on my RedHat 7.2 box? (and a good source of RPMs)
I tried the rpm from the Spamassassin site, but got no joy- it complained
about a .pm file it couldn't find (sorry can't remember what). (is this a
perl module?) even aft
Does someone have a basic recipe I can look over to validate my
installation? I think it is installed right but I don't know how to confirm
it. Additionally from the reading I have one specific question. How do I
