Is there anyway to log what spamassassin hits on? It scores things but I
have no idea what it is scoring on, and I am trying to use some of the
rules and change the scores but I have no idea which one the 3.30 score
that is coming through on this email is coming from.

I was wondering if there is any logging supported in spamassassin. I was
going to look into the possibility of using the tagged spam as a DENY list in
sendmail’s access file.
Is there any logging functionality? I didn’t see anything I the
documentation about it.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I'm wondering if there's a possibility to write the rules matched by a
specific mail into a logfile instead or in addition to the mail-header /
new envelope (in case of secure reporting) for further statistic
analysis. I'm thinking about a seperate file in /var/log or even syslog.

hello
i've looked around on the docs and through the files themselves and connot find
the directive that tells spamd where to log its information. it's currently
logging in my /var/log/maillog file which i assume is by default. i'd like to
change it to combine with my exim setup using the /var/lo

Hi
We are implementing SpamAssassin v2.55 with spamc/spamd and PostFix. Our mail system
hosts multiple domains and we would like to extract per-domain statistics with regards
to SpamAssassins idenitification of spam. Unfortunately, it does not appear as though

Subject: [SAtalk] Logging spamassassin...
Hello!
I'm currently test spamassassin (spamd/spamc) to see if we should
implement it sit
i have observed numbers in the range of 50% spam for several
enterprises measured over the day.
i use amavisd and postfix for this purpose.
i set loglevel=3 in /etc/amavisd.conf.
then here's a shell script that computes it:
#!/bin/sh
log=/s3/amavis/amavis.log
spamin=`grep $1 $log | grep "spam
Hello!
I'm currently test spamassassin (spamd/spamc) to see if we should
implement it sitewide here. Is there a way to log how many mails that
spamassassin tags as spam and how many that aren't counted as spam. If
it's possible I also want to log the score so we can have our own little
high score
Spamassassin is just the greatest. Now that I have it up and running (and
report to Razor), I have one questions I cannot seem to solve.
Is there a way to enable logging with Spamassassin?
Nothing complex (ie complete headers), just a simple one line (ie syslog
style) log letting me know
