I agree, I have sendmail set up to reject everything coming into this
domain, and individual OK rules for all valid e-mail addresses. These
addresses/aliases are pulled from the active directory once a night,
then dynamically builds the sendmail "access" file.

This would be a neat feature add-on for SA:
- Mail gets scanned by SA, log written to syslog
- Hit freqs get parsed in real-time and written to a mySQL table
- All rules are in another mySQL table, including custom rules
- Once a week a cron job kicks off and compares hit frequencies with
rules ba

Just an FYI, when I roll out SA to a client, I include $500/year charge
for software upgrades, this way they always stay current. It is easier
to get that $$ up front than down the road. Software upgrades are done
in the comfort of my house, using SSH and webmin, usually taking only a

I know this has been brought up before, but as I read the posts, my
questions still aren't answered...
If they are using the open source SA, why can't I download the source to
their program? You can't tell me they haven't modified it.
This just doesn't seem right...

We are set up the same way. This is what I do:
Have a folder called "ham" in my outlook
I periodically drag ham to that folder
I then have an outlook rule that I only run on demand
This rule is set to "redirect" all messages in that folder to an e-mail
alias pointing to an mbox located on the SA
Can you customize this part?

Dear all
I fixed this by lowering the scores of my RBL checks. I still use RBLs
but none of them have a score of more than 1.0
