filtering things to a folder instead of deleting them, it doesn't need
to be perfect.

want to get into a discussion of whether it's a virus
or spam. The thing is, on a practical/functional level, and as it
appears to the person receiving the mail, it looks like spam and can
be dealt with as if it were spam. It doesn't really matter how it
originated.

n on the machine where I read my email. That's because
mail processing (including running SpamAssassin) is done on some
backend machines, and they don't have SpamAssassin installed on the
frontend machines.
