Er...not quite on topic, but I need a sanity check bad...real bad.
I try to keep my system clean. I run a firewall, spybot, and a good/updated
virus scanner...and hey! SA on my linux server...although I don't get much
if any spam on this account. My ISP account is another matter entirely.

ed subject, but so be it. I won't have missed
anything important, no?

I decided to send some really annoying spam to myself.
Basically email consisted of an all caps subject "INCREASE YOUR PEN*S SIZE
NOW!!!" and several lines in the body with same text and a url to go to.
BTW,
I have installed SpamAssasin on a pretty much stock RH9 system (using
sendmail, procmail?).
A caveat...I'm not a sendmail jock...I've been able to make simple
adjustments to my sendmail.mc/.cf files but by no means really 'understand'
what the %$#^%$ I'm actually doing...sendmail is quite complex
