Er...not quite on topic, but I need a sanity check bad...real bad. I try to keep my system clean. I run a firewall, spybot, and a good/updated virus scanner...and hey! SA on my linux server...although I don't get much if any spam on this account. My ISP account is another matter entirely.
I also subscribe to like 8 newsgroups. And I am dying from the flood of spam/email virii. After a hard nights' work, I went to bed and slept from like 9am to noon. Ahh I feel rested...yea right! I check my email and notice that over 100!!!! of this fu$^%#$@ ms attachment virus are in my deleted items folder. It is an equal amount to my validly received/sent email. I am also getting numerous bogus? bounce messages for emails I've never knowingly sent. Is everybody being swamped all to hell right now? Only ONE response is enough for me/others to know this is the case...please let me know. Based on my personal email flood, I can only imagine the internet email traffic has like come to a crawl due to this extra garbage. I seem to have noticed the increased traffic for almost a week now, gotten worse in the past few days.
