I use the MTA postfix, and I want to use spamassasin.

I want to setup a machine, with a sole purpose, of scanning email. All
email to be delivered to my domain, will be accepted by this machine,
and then, after scanning delivered to my mail server.
How can I achieve such a setup?

How can I turn off the above check? It's adding 2.7 points to my mail,
and making a look of my mail from yahoo groups SPAM.
Or instead, how can I add some email addresses to a white list, so that
they don't get checked for spam?

Is it possible for me to check if SA is being called twice? I call it in
my procmailrc but, I think maybe postfix calls it too, because it takes
an age for my email to be scanned

Does SA-lean learn where an email originates, and give that domain a
higher score?

I'm considering exporting all my spam to a txt file, and then feeding it
to spam assassin, but I'm not sure how.
I'm also tempted to do the same with the mails that are getting spam
points, but are not quite marked as spam.

I would like to fine tune my SA install. The problem I have is that a

that has a spam score, you know, when the * is added to the header. This
tends to help me filter all spam, but a lot of normal messages get
caught too, espe

It may be because it is a legitimatly constructed email, and not one
sent from a mass mailer program or anything like that.

I have a feeleing that my ~/.procmailrc files are being skipped, it
seems that email being delivered via fetchmail, is not following the
rules in these files. Is there anyway, to force fetchmail to send all
mail it collects to procmail?

I have just installed SA on my laptop, and i want to get it working,
before i install it on my netork systems. The trouble is, all spam seems
to STILL be getting through, without being marked.

Now that my mail is actually getting filtered, I'd like to know how I
can teach SA, what I actually consider to be spam? I'm not sure how to
get to grips with SA-learn.
I want to be able to forward mail to an alias, and have the attachment
sent to SA-learn so that mail from the same people ends up
Is it possible to have the attachemt only, piped into sa-learn ?

Thanks for the tip, I have made the change, but still messages which are
blatantly spam, seem to make it into my inbox.
Also, is it possible for me to setup a mailbox, so that I can forward
spam to it, so that similar mails also get marked as spam?
