I empathize with you...
Do you have a README in /usr/share/doc/spamassassin?
Have you checked out the doc's here?

Does anyone have any idea how to approach this project?:
I have a large number of people who want spam protection
(and virus protection) for their email accounts. These
accounts are on numerous servers scattered across the globe.
The only access I have to these accounts is via POP, that

Hi,
I had a sort of conversation with Matt Stern, their VP, after spamming one
of my personal domains asking if I wanted to move.
I replied rather abruptly (slimey, bast*rd, etc were used) and he
personnally replied back asking what the problem was.
I then replied in a very business-like manner

I had set ok_languages all in the local.cf file. My
main intention is to allow chinese encoding. By thisl, will it include
all chinese encoding like GB18030, GB2312, HZ and BIG5?

Did you check to see if that file (/root/.razor/identity) exists? What are
the permissions?
Did you register as root (or did you do it as a non-root user, in which
case they have an identity but not the root user)?

You shouldn't need to do anything, other than restart spamd if you're using
that.
Each time it starts Spamassassin checks for razor, and if you're using 2.40
or greater, it checks for razor 2 as well.
If you've manually zeroed out the RAZOR_CHECK score in your scores, you'll
have to put it ba
Yeah, that's the main reason why razor2 was designed with a submitter
rating system. This way the people that wind up auto-submitting mailing
lists and other non-spam get ignored. Razor1 has no built-in way of
recognizing "this guy submits a lot of non-spam, ignore him". The best you
can do is
Thanks for the pointer! I thought I had checked the FAQ, but it turns out I
had just checked the Razor FAQ, and the last time I read the SpamAssassin
FAQ that wasn't in there.
For some reason the Sourceforge mailing lists search only seems to support
searching messages from 8/6/02 and earlier,

Hey folks,
Just wanted to send out a quick mail in case anyone was looking for me
or some files off my server (RPMs, etc,) at kluge.net. The hardware
decided to die yesterday morning/early afternoon (any or all of the
cpu, motherboard, and/or power supply has gotten mega-flaky). I

Hi,
I have been seeing this problem too. I am running Spamassassin-2.30. Is
there a solution? I didn't see any responses to this question.
TIA,

This is, I believe, one of the major advantages to using Razor2. You
can't do what you are asking with Razor1.

Hy there!
I was wondering why this message appears, after having installed and
registered my Razor...
t/razor2This test should have been skipped:
razor-register has not been run, or /root/.razor/identity is unreadable.

Check the headers and see if it is indeed looping.

Hello!
I installed SpamAssassin, but AFTER installing it I wanted to install
Razor.
I installed Razor, but now I'd like SpamAssassin to recognize it and use
it, how do I do?
Thank you
