Where 'worked' == 'made whirring noises and something
approximating-but-not-quite-an-image came out', sure

That's ok because you should use a SANE device name, not a devic

Hi all,
I have a PC104 card lying around which I'd like to use as a
scanner server (pretty much like printer servers). It has an AMD 486
clone with 133MHz (PR133?) and 64MB. As it only has an ISA connector,
I'll combine it with an ISA 10baseT NIC and an ISA SCSI card (for my
Umax Powerlook 2000).
Hi,
Excuse me, I've found the backend-wrintig.txt, in the sane-backend cvs
snapshot. Don't know why I've missed it... :-/
Cheers

Thanks for the patch.
Gerhard, what do you recommand to fix SANE 1.0.12 in Mandrake 9.2 so
that the Canon LiDE scanners work? This patch or one of your tarballs as
http://www.gjaeger.de/scanner/test/plustek-0.46-TEST1.tar.gz
Or can you give me a patch for 1.0.12 which contains all the latest fi
Hi,
While translating, I've read "keep others users informed about what you
are doing" and later "this way no work is made twice" so I'm here...
First : I've begun to translate backend-writing.txt in french (for now
70% done). If someone is interested, or want to verify, I'll be very
happy.
