Your kernel-modules do not match your kernel. You need !exactly! the
same kernel config as Mandrake (your dist was MD?) used to build the
kernel. OR you do not only install the modules but ALSO install the
kernel module.
But if you do this the first time, it might be much to learn. And

I have already posted a message for my installation scanner problem.
I just want to be more explicit.
I am under mdk 8.2 kernel 2.4.18.
I have followed the instructions of Johan Schoone: recompling the kernel as it
is indicated.
But when i launch lsmod | grep usb the result is
usb-uchi
is no installation guide.
